THE ART OF LETTING GO

Imagine floating effortlessly in a private space, supported by water rich in Epsom salt and maintained near skin temperature. With fewer distractions from the outside world, there's room to settle into stillness, release tension, and experience rest in a different way. Every float is your own experience.

THE EXPERIENCE

A Different Kind of Rest

Float Therapy offers a unique environment for relaxation. Each private float tank contains approximately ten inches of water and 1,000 pounds of dissolved Epsom salt, creating enough buoyancy to float effortlessly without having to hold yourself up.

The water is maintained near skin temperature, helping soften the sensation of where your body ends and the water begins.

You can choose your preferred lighting and music, or enjoy the quiet and darkness. With fewer demands on your senses, you're free to rest, reflect, meditate, or simply see where the experience takes you.

There's nothing you need to accomplish and no particular way you're supposed to feel.

Why people float

Mind, body, spirit

Floating offers a different experience for everyone. Some come seeking physical relaxation, others appreciate the quiet, and some simply enjoy having uninterrupted time to themselves.

A chance to let go.

The buoyancy of the salt water supports your body with very little effort. Without the usual pressure of standing or sitting, many people find it easier to relax their muscles and settle into physical stillness.

Room for quiet.

With fewer sights, sounds, and outside distractions competing for your attention, floating creates an opportunity to slow down. Some people meditate, some daydream, and others simply enjoy the experience of doing nothing.

Space to reconnect.

Time away from everyday demands can create room for reflection, imagination, and a deeper sense of presence. Your float might feel peaceful, creative, contemplative, or something entirely different. There's no right or wrong experience.

Before your float

How to prepare

A little preparation can help make your float more comfortable.

Go Easy on the Caffeine
Consider limiting caffeine before your appointment, especially if it tends to leave you feeling alert or restless.
Eat something light
A light meal or snack an hour or two beforehand can help you feel comfortable during your session.
Avoid shaving or waxing
Freshly shaved or waxed skin may sting in the salt water. We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before floating.
Plan around hair coloring
Wait 72 hours after coloring before you float.
Arrive early
Plan to arrive approximately 10-15 minutes before your appointment, especially for your first visit. We'll introduce you to the space, explain how everything works, and answer your questions.
What to bring
We provide towels, robes, slippers, earplugs, body wash, and conditioner. You're welcome to bring your own comb or brush and any personal care items you'd like afterward.

Most guests choose to float without a swimsuit, since each float room is completely private.
